Performing the World 365

The most recent iteration of the Digital Happening project was developed as part of a workshop presented at the 2018 biennial Performing the World conference in New York.  In the workshop (From Happenings to Hashtags: the performance of community in a digital world) participants collectively designed a digital happening for an international community of performance activists.  The event “goes live” for 72 hours on the first of every month until the next Performing the World conference in 2020.  In this way the PTW community stays connected, accountable, and inspired to keep the magic alive by performing the world 365!
